| newbie Hi, after lurkin in the shadows I’ve joined.
I'm pretty new to scroll work, My love of wood comes from my dad who was a cabinet maker till 3 years ago, I’ve taken up the scroll saw as an extension of my art. I have been sculpting and painting now for 25 years. So now I think I’m ready for wood. ![015[1]](http://www.scrollsawer.com/forum/images/smilies/015[1].gif) |

| Thanks for the warm welcome, I am base just near whitby.
up till now most of the stuff I've done is fantasy or wildlife sculpting and along with it come's plenty of pencil work, I hope this will translate well into scroll work. I'm working on some patterns right now and hope maybe to offer them for download, well see how I progress.
Most of my scroll work has been along side my dad, doing inlays for him as well as trying my hand in marquetry.
Regards Pete |
