Default Greetings, all!

I've been reading this forum for weeks now and I figure it's time to introduce myself and start posting. I've been scrolling for almost 3 years, off and on, when I can. "Inherited" an old 16" Delta and would love to upgrade - someday.

I've mostly done fretwork and a lot of Xmas ornaments. The family goes crazy over the ornaments and I've even sold a number of them. It's great making gifts; sure beats pounding the malls. I'm kinda interested in intarsia - designed and cut an intarsia project of my Mastiff but haven't finished it yet. That's what's really fun, I think - designing my own stuff. Also into scrolling sayings, poems, things with words in them. Still scratching my head over a lot of that, though. But mostly it's been patterns I've bought or gotten from magazines.

So I'll add myself to the "Kevin-R-Us" scrollers here, ask a bunch of questions, and help others out when I can. You're a good, friendly group!

Later!

How come we haven't had a Pope Kevin yet? I suppose it's a matter of time.

In the meantime, it's nice to have an addition to the Kevin posse of scrollers. Welcome aboard, Kevin .

Hi Kevin
I live down in Greenfield, my son and daughter live in Fishers.
I'll be up in your neck of the woods today.

Hi, nice to have yet another Kevin ..:-)

This is starting to remind me of a Monty Python sketch:

First Bruce: Is your name not Bruce?

Michael: No, it's Michael.

Second Bruce: That's going to cause a little confusion.

Third Bruce: Mind if we call you "Bruce" to keep it clear?

I say we all become Kevin.

That way we won't offend anyone if we forget a name, which I tend to do.

Welcome to the bunch, Kevin. Glad to have you.

LOL.
One little comment and look at the response!

Bob, we're practically neighbors - especially considering that some of us here live across the border or across "the big pond." 'Tis a shame we can't hear accents and dialects in these posts.

Pope Kevin ?? There's something inherently wrong in that. <G>
