I just came upon this sight while looking for a pattern on the net. I had an old boat anchor of a scrollsaw years ago.. it was frustrating Bought one this week and wanting to get back into it AFter I made out my sign on name I seen there was another Dale here. Some time in the future I am looking for a pattern of a covered wagon I have a fellow in my church that makes covered wagons from the ground up and thought I would make him a wall hanging of a covered wagon. but that is in the future I am from southern Missouri.. Just a Hick. I do have running water.. lol Are there many of you that use a peddle scrollsaw? I have another friend that used them I believe he has 8 of them. I have a wooden leg so that is out of the question for me.. dale |

Oh no, another Missouri hillbilly. Ozarkhillbilly is also from Missouri. He is a very fine portait scroller, even if he does use spiral blades exclusively. Welcome to our friendly scroll sawing family, Dale. You have come to the best place on the net for tips, advice, getting answers to your questions and for friendly critiques on your posted work. It is also an awesome place for just plain encouragement. We hope to see some of your work soon. |

Hi Dale, Welcome to the group. My best advice is take some time to read the old threads, there's a lot of good info in there. We are here to exchange ideas, share knowledge, talk about scrolling and life in general. We are a friendly group that is respectfull and we also like to rib each other in a friendly fashion. Hope to see some of your work soon. (we like pictures )Regards, Marcel

Ozarkhillbilly I live in Norwood, MO just west of Cabool and Mountian grove, mo Small town of 552 people. I would like to get a covered wagon pattern sometime. I have a fellow in my church that builds them from the ground up.. full size he cuts his own trees and cures them then make a full size wagon with top and all. pretty neat fellow. dale |
