Hello from Hamilton,Ontario,Canada Ehhh!!!
New to scrolling but have woodworked for years. Would love to scroll my grandkids portraits. Is there software out there to convert photos, or does anyone make patterns for others. What would be the price on those patterns?
I also have a CNC router with 4' X 4' table.

Hi Keith from fellow Canuck
I am from Brooklin Ontario. Just north of Whitby.
There are members who will do patterns from photos but you can do your own with GIMP. (Free software) and there are instructions available at GIMP - Articles - Articles - Scroll Saw Village
There is also software Coyote Stencil pattern maker.

Welcome aboard Keith. For my fisrt portraits I used tracing paper and just started drawing in details until it looked good to me. Like Don said, there is some feee software and some free help here as well.
