Default Hello from Central Texas

My name is Dave, I hail from Central Texas, near Waco.
I have been building furniture and cabinets for over 25 years. I am just getting back into it, as I took a two year hiatus.
My favorite woods are QSWO, Texas mesquite, and Hawaian Koa when I can get my hands on it.
I have done quite a bit of veneering, but I am looking to explore marquetry.
I did take a class with David Marks on inlay, but want to get more in depthed.

I am currently a woodworker full time, so if any of y'all in my area, give me a shout and stop by the shop.
I have a really good inventory of veneers and hardwood lumber so if you need one or two pieces for a project, give me a yell.

Thanks and I look forward to learning a lot on this site.

Welcome Dave. I am from Clyde. I get down to Waco every now and then. I like using TX mesquite and Red aromatic cedar.

Howdy, Dave, welcome to the forum, a great place! I'm just northwest of Waco a few miles in China Spring. This forum is a group of some of the most helpful folks you'll ever come across.

Welcome! And it sounds like we'll be learning a thing or two from YOU. Glad to hear you are in it full time.
