new to the forum
I guess the is the self intro section of the forum, so here goes. I love working with wood. I work part time at the Independence Seaport Museum in Philly making and restoring wooden boats. When I'm not there I'm raising my two boys and remodeling my house.
I've been scrolling off and on for about 4 years now. Originally on a dremmel saw that I put pinless bladeholders on and made a hardboard top for it. It vibrated all over the place and was a frustrating tool to use. A couple of years ago, I picked up a Hawk 214 on Craigslist. The guy knew nothing about the saw, he had only ever had one blade in it and it was broken. It worked great until about 6 months ago when the upper blade holder stopped working. I've just received the replacement holder, and a new lower holder and I'm excited to get cutting again.
Last spring I tried my first craft show and didn't sell enough to cover the table fees. Most of what I had was kids puzzles, I thought they would fly off the table. Oh well, I will try again this year with a little more variety.
I have tons of questions and input, I'll head to the appropriate forums for all of that.

Welcome Dave! You just never know how craft shows treat you. I will almost sell out at one show and just barely make my booth fees at another. But, as long as I enjoy doing it, I will continue. Glad to have you aboard!
