Default Used Excailbur EX 21

Just getting into scroll sawing. I live close to Madison Wi. and have found 3 scroll saws on Craigs List that seem to be good machines. An Ex21 Excalibur, A Hawk 220 vs, And a Hegner made in 1999. I can not find anyway of telling the date of manufacture of the Excalibur does anyone know a site that may have info on there serial numbers or such. All of these machines have a asking price of $500 + or - . Is that about right for older scroll saws of the quality? Any and all input appreciated

Any one of the three depending on condition and cost.

Sandy has the best suggestion, you can't lose anything by asking Ray.
