Welcome! I am Tony, aka,Toneman from Paris, Texas. Not sure I understand your question about how to use this site. On the forum, just click on the category you wish to read and if you want to begin a new thread, just click on new thread. You will notice on the left a lot of options, such as patterns and techniques. These are good free avenues to learn and to gain experience. There is also the opportunity to subscribe to the magazine which offers an abundant source of scrolling information and free patterns. This is a great place to ask questions and swap ideas and techniques.

Tony pretty much covered it! We all get someting a little bit different from the site. One important thing for me is it keeps me humble! Every time I think I am getting good at this hobby someone on the site posts an idea or a project that is absolutly stunning or it takes me in another direction I never would have thought of.
Bottom line, Welcome, you have found a wonderful resource of good folks and ideas.

You may find the stickies at the top of this forum to be very helpful.
Take a few minutes to read through them. They are chock full of great information.
