Welcome! My husband and I do this together as well. Only problem is we both scroll and so often want the saw at the same time. Feel free to look over his shoulder often and soon you will find yourself wanting to sit down at the saw as well. In our house, I started scrolling first, but it did not take him long until he was my partner in the shop. it is a really fun hobby to do together.
