| My name is Billy and I like to do some wood working to get my mind of my daily work. I started out with a mini lathe and discovered now the wonderful world of scroll saws. I have a simple entry level saw that will have to do until I can convince myself to upgrade. Nonetheless, I am having fun trying to stay on the lines. I am amazed on the many ideas I see on this site and the craftsmanship displayed. Hopefully I will have something to post once I get passed all the mistakes :-) Glad to have found this place. |

Welcome A Board!! You will be hard pressed to find a friendlier or more knowledgeable group on the net re: woodworking. Share your knowledge and do not hesitate to ask questions. Welcome Billy! I am Tony, aka,Toneman from Paris, Texas. Glad you found us and the art of scrolling! Just remember to have fun and practice, practice, practice, and watch the tutorials on this site and Steve Good's site and ask questions.(there are no dumb questions!). My best advice is buy good blades such as Olson or Flying Dutchman and don't get in a hurry; guide the blade and let the saw do the cutting. Tony, aka,Toneman |
