Default Hello

Just wanted to introduce mysel to all of you talented artists.

My love for woodworking began back in High School over 25 years ago. After High School, I joined the Air Force working as a Structural Technician (Carpentry, Masonry, Sheet Metal, Etc) in Civil Engineering for 12 years. I got a degree in Technology, and am currently working in the I.T. field, but my passion is, and will always be woodworking.

My favorite tool is the Scroll Saw. I have been scrolling for over 20 years now. I have dabbled in Intarsia, but my love is for scrolling portraits, especially of rock and sports stars, but don't limit myseldf to that. I use Photoshop 6 to make most of my patters, so I do have a passion Photoshop as well.

I started out with a hand-me down Craftsman 16" pin end saw, and have graduated up to the Dewalt 788, which my beautiful wife gave me for Christmas...It's a great saw.

Hope to hear from you...Thanks!
