Talking new to scrolling

Hi
My name is Clive. I am from Taumarunui, New Zealand. I have just started scrollsawing, although I have been working with wood for a lot of years. When I saw some of the fantastic creations the rest of you have been producing I knew I just had to have a go. I have enjoyed viewing this scrollsaw websit and found it to be really helpful, answering a lot of those beginner questions and getting some really useful hints and tricks. So thankyou for being so open and helpful.

For those of you who do not know were Taumarunui is, it is located in the centre of the north Island of New Zealand, just west of Lake Taupo (trout fishing capital of NZ) and Just north of Mt Ruapehu. It is a great area for Tramping, kayaking, fishing and skiing. It is a traditional sheep and beef farming area given it is pritty hilly. The population of the town is about 2000 with another 1-2000 people on farms in the surounding area. We tend to be a friendly bunch of people so if anyone is passing this way feel free to drop by.
