Default Old guy, first post with question about usage.

My name is Don C., I am a retired Ind. Art teacher who came back into the classroom this year to keep the program open in my home town. Taught here for 31 years and I retired in 04. Basically, I found the shop in a mess, no maintenance, broken tools & machines, everyone just walked out last year and left it a mess because they supposedly could not find an instructor. I walked in 2 days before school started after I heard they were going to closs it. Anyway, have got things repaired, cleaned up and working somewhat and the admin looking for a new instructor. Have borrowed a couple of scroll saws from people locally to supplement the Hawk (1980's) and Dremel scroll saws that are here and have had the students cutting various types of pictures and intarsia. I have used a lot of my patterns that I have accumilated but want to have the students look into the pattern vault on their own. The question that I have is how would be the best way to let the students do this since they have to log in. (A) Have them set up their own login account! Which may cause you guys an increase in names or (B) setup another login name with my name so the students could do this in class, and then at the end of the year request for this name to be dropped. Any Ideas!
at all would be helpfull. Don't want to make this too long, so will close.

My original log on name is "teacher" My handle from being an RTO in "Nam"

Thanks-- Don

HI Don, and welcome to the forum. I would edit your post and see if you can change the title and direct your question to the Administrators, they would be the best one to give you an answer.

I would give the students the option of starting their own membership. My reason is hopefully some will be inspired enough that they may want to continue scrolling after the school year ends. ... and we never have enough members. lol

A side note, Thank you for returning to teaching and touching the lives of these young people in many ways.
