Default New guy from Indiana

Hello everyone! I'm new to this site and have been scrolling for two years. I came across scrolling by accident. I had been wanting to do some sort of woodworking but wasn't sure what. I don't have a lot of room for furniture or cabinet making. I met a gentlemen through my day job who liked to make sawdust and we developed a friendship. His son bought him a subscription to a scrollsaw magazine but he had no interest in it so he gave them to me. At that time I had no idea what scrollsawing was and as I looked through the magazine I thought to myself, "I think I would enjoy this", and have been hooked ever since. That's my little story.

From Muncie, I offer a great big welcome. Newcomers are required to provide doughnuts and coffee for those with more than 1,000 posts and before Wood Dog gets here, I will tell you we love pictures and pictures provide the proof the cutting really occurred.

Welcome Nicholas, are you really Santa Clause? Been scrolling for 2 years eh, well.....show us the goods. Jim beat me to it this time, but we all love to see what everyone is working on. Gives food for thought. Come by often, we love new members, so much to learn from each other.
