This is the first time that I am posting to the forum, so I would like to introduce myself and say Hello to everyone. I have been scrolling for almost 8 years. During that time I have tried intarsia, compound cutting, fretwork and creating some of my own designs. I have also attended several of the Midwest Trade Shows. I have browsed through these blogs in the past and I look forward to some more great Scroll Sawing tips and ideas. |

Hello Tango and welcome to the forum. Perhaps we can learn a thing or two from you as well, sounds like you have a fair bit of experience in the scroll saw world. Marsha

| Thanks for the warm welcome. I have learned a lot in the last 8 years mostly through reading Scroll Saw books, magazine articles and blogs. Also Trade Shows are wonderful. Not only did I meet some very talented people, I also received some great ideas. However every time, I turn my saw on, I do discover that I learn new things. Therefore, I look forward to be actively involved in this forum. |

It is my cat's name. She was left on the road when she was two and a half pound kitten and she decided that our house was her home. She has 'tangled' with our lives since.

Hi Saw Dust, How do you like your Hawk? I actually purchased a 2nd one off of Craigslist . This one is older and to change speeds, I need to move the belt under the saw. Boy am I glad that they advance to variable speed saw. I know that you guys love pictures. Tonight I will try to figure out how to upload a picture or two. Some of my work has already been published through this site. Last fall, I had an entry in the Midwest Scroll Saw Trade Show. Those pictures were posted through one of the blogs in the brag section. Also I do have an entry in the Design contest. Boy does that contest have wonderful entries. I diffently appreciate all of the hard work that went into the projects. |
