Smile Getting interested

I have been lurking for a while and thought I would make my 1st post I have seen a lot of great projects, and think I would like to try scroll sawing myself,

Is there anyone that uses the old scroll saws

......BUNKY, Old is good........"NEW " is better .....with all the add ons and bells and whistles it makes scrollin' more fun....if you can find an OLD saw be sure it does what you expect of it.............

Bunky, I would suggest that you make sure the saw does not take pinned blades, for sure, and if you can check the vibration of the table when sawing. You don't want vibrations while sawing. Like Dave say's, the new ones have all that included. It's just better for scrolling. Purchase the best that you can afford. Good Luck. -- Perk
