Default Just getting started

I'm new to scrolling and woodworking in general. I just needed to find something to do when i can't fish. This is an awesome forum, and I look forward to learning my new hobby here.

You will enjoy your visits here. There is a large amount of good information available here. I'm another one who would like to be fishing but it's a lot of work chopping a hole through 2 feet of ice

Thanks for the welcomes.

ncsealeveler, no noodling for me. I prefer the old fashion style of bass fishing with a rod and reel. lol.

knothole, this is the first year I can remember the ponds I fish being frozen and not getting to fish them yet. It's been a crazy winter in Oklahoma so far.

Welcome aboard. I'm not familiar with noodling but I enjoy a good catfish feed.

Google noodling. You get in the water and find a hole in the bank and stick your arm in there and feel around. Usually a catfish will bite your fist and then you pull it out of the hole. Of course you hope it is a catfish and not a snake or beaver.

Hi, Ron, welcome to the forum. I have a friend who lives in Yukon. He was a Traffic Controller when he retired. Hope you enjoy the site & just ask if you need anything. Good Luck with your new hobby. -- Perk
