Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I joined about a month ago and have been doing some reading here. I was given a Dremel 1571 and since i have it, i might as well to something with it. I have never scrolled so i may have a ton of noobish question.

Thats it for now.

Hey JJ - first question to ask yourself is 'what do I fancy making?' .
Pick something that looks like it will not be too difficult, if you need to, find a pattern, and then go to the appropriate section of the board and fire away with your questions. You'll find plenty of members willing to help in all the sections

Before starting cutting find out what blades you need and how to put them into your saw and check if they cut square to the table. After that start cutting on some scrap for practise. Once you feel confident start scrolling for real

Good luck and have fun!
