Default I am Honored

Greetings everyone ~

New to this forum and it is a real honor to rub elbows with some of the most talented and creative wood workers.

Scrolling for a few years, doing portraits, fret and intarsia.
Everything I make is for Holiday/Occasion gifts.
The real pleasure for me is in the giving and the payment is the joy and happiness that this craft brings to people who receive it.

I am consistently searching the web for new ideas, especially for Christmas ornaments and decor.

Thank you for sharing your talent and I look forward to learning from all of you.

Happy Scrolling!

As always,
Godspeed,
Tony

Tony:
Welcome to the board and I hope you become a true regular and stop by to see us on a frequent basis.

One of the "rules" around here is you have to post the occasional picture of completed work to make the rest of us strive to meet someone else's level. The only way to get better is to "play" against someone better and if you've been scrolling "for a few years", you're bound to have some tips, techniques or work arounds we could benerfit from seeing.

Welcome aboard Tony. Although we like pictures, they really arent mandatory! As long as you stop in, offer advice or help when you can,or ask questions on anything you need answers for, you'll fit in great here. Welcome aboard.

Hi all ~
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Not sure how to or where to post things yet, so please bare with me while I catch my bearings.
Have had a few scroll saws over the years, but a friend gave me a 16" Ridgid for my birthday years back. Worked great, in fact it still does, my wife uses it now. I moved on to a Dewalt dw788 and it treats me just fine.
I live in southern New Jersey and do my craft out of a 12' x 16' shed....tight, but organized.
From seeing all of your great work, it is doubtable that I could give you any insight or tips, but am more then willing to share what I know.

I don't know how to upload pictures from my computer, so if anyone could tell me how, where and what is the best size to show, please let me know.

Thanks again for the warm welcome and look forward to being a part of this group.

As always,
Godspeed,
Tony
