Hello fellow scrollers, Just wanted to say Hi. I have been a member here for awhile but havnt been on much. I have been scrolling since 1992. I still consider myself an amateur but love to continue to learn and enjoy my time working...or playing in my shop! I am a devoted follower of Christ, husband and father. I have always enjoyed giving my creations to family and friends and even strangers. Recenlty due to being unemployed I am attempting to sell my items a here and there also. But I also would like to continue to give my gifts to others and to use this gift of scrollsawing and making special gifts in wood to just share Jesus with the world. I especially like making Christmas ornaments, names, silouettes, puzzles and games. Right now I am trying to get a supply of things made to sell as well as working on Christmas gifts. I very much like seeeing all the posts, advice, encouragement, humor and just fellowship you all bring to this forum. Welcome. You couldn't find a better place to visit. I'm somewhat north of you in MN and we have had many days with some snow already since Oct. 10. This isn't at all normal but I like it since it has kept the asian beetles away this year.

Hi Marty,
Get into our pattern vault and dig through our treasure trove. There are loads of patterns there.
Also, dig through various threads using "search" and you'll find many more patterns that have never made it to the vault (our local Jedi gets kinda busy).
Another also...PM me if you are interested in cross patterns. I can't send you other designer's patterns (even if they have been shared here I believe it is their right to send or not send) but I have quite a few that you may be interested in, along with other Christian patterns that I have developed.
There are so many sources for patterns that you could spend days just looking.
I'm sorry you waited so long to post. You could be miles ahead by now but at least you've begun the journey. I'm also sorry to hear about the loss of your job but, hey, you should know that God opens many doors of opportunity in ways that you and I might never consider. I don't sell much of my stuff but as I give it away I am presented many opportunities to witness for Christ.
I will do whatever I can to help you, but don't be a stranger to this forum. Post, post, post! We want pictures!!! LOL
One other thing...read the various tutorials if you need help in figuring things out. If that doesn't help you, make a post and ASK.
