Hello, I am a new member and also new to scroll sawing. I am an artist and have decided to try my hand at scrollsawing. I have not started yet, but have prepared some supplies. I buy my saw in a few weeks. Also, I am not to computer savvy.

First welcome to the board, don't feel bad about the computer thing, this site is easy to move around. I'll suggest that since you say your new to the art, go to the Beginners Scroll Saw - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Message Board and sit back and scroll around it for a while.
Again welcome to the board. Jump in have fun. If you have any questions feel free to ask as we all love to help.
I'll give you a heads up, make sure you post pictures of your works no matter the outcomes as we love seeing others work as it gives us all inspration to cut something, also you say your an artist? What type? Sounds maybe like you may draw and if so, take a look at the Scroll Saw Design Tutorials - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Message Board
You may find you can make your own patterns. If not don't feel bad as you will find plenty of things to cut here in Free Scroll Saw Pattern Vault - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Message Board and in the New Scroll Saw Patterns or Designs - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Message Board
