I'm Rusty Baker. I'm new to this forum. I post on a lot of floorcovering forums. I'll just hang around for a while till I get a feel for this place before I post much.

Hi Rusty,
It's not that we're unfriendly. Just the opposite, we're probably the friendliest bunch on the internet...for sure the most helpful and supportive. I don't say that lightly, either.
The truth is, we are a bit put off by "lurkers." We encourage you to participate, not just watch. Post some pictures of your work, ask some questions, share some insights, etc.
Above all, tell us about yourself. Obviously you like being around wood. By the way, I have found unique ways to use hardwood flooring in my scroll saw projects it makes great bases for small projects, for one thing). Have you?? Care to share your ideas?
C'mon...get involved!

Rusty, are you a scroller? Do you have any work to show us? Welcome, you will get lots of help with questions or problems.

Yes I'm a scroller, no pictures tho, I have sold everthing I made. I quit woodworking for 3 years, I am working on designing a chair and want scrollwork in the chairback.
