Default Hello everyone

I've been reading the forum for awhile and have learned a few things already, but have a LOT more to learn. I have read some of the "how to" books recommended on this forum and so far am making a lot of kindling for my campfires. I'm hoping eventually to change the ratio of "mostly kindling" to "mostly keepers". At this point, that seems a way down the road.

I already appreciate you accomplished people being free with your advice.

Welcome Bob - don't worry about the kindling, we all start that way and some of us keep going down that path for the rest of our lives! But if you get to make a real nice 6" x 6" project from a 12ft x 8" board the kindling don't matter

Join in on the board and you'll quickly develop your skills, get a lot of help and advice and meet a lot of great folks on the way

Good luck!
