Default New Scroller

Hello everyone I am Brian from Milwaukee,WI and am just strarting to mess with a scroll saw and am looking forward to it. I bought mine about six month ago but with the summer not able to use it. I got it from a local store it is a Task Force 16" if I would of seen this site before I bought it I would of got something different. But hey have to start somewhere Right? Didn't cost much either so no big loss if I upgrade quickly. Looking forward to using the advice of many here and a long relationship with the life of the Scoll Saw.

Welcome to the boards Brian! Like you said, you gotta start some where! And you attitude sounds great! If you need any help just shout, as we all have been in your shoes and don't mind helping out a friend. Have you decided on what you would like to do first? I never realized all the different uses of a scroll saw until I got on here. Have phun making dust!

Jerry

Welcome Cya1291.

Sounds like you have a good bit of enthusiasm. Please be sure to post some photos of your scrolling projects in the Bragging section. We love photos.

Welcome aboard Brian. Im a little bit south of ya, in Racine county. Theres at least one member in here besides you that lives in Milwaukee as well, hopefully she will see your post. And, if you need some nice wood for scrolling, shes got quite a pile of small boards of some really top quality hardwoods stacked in her garage that she may sell to you cheap.
