Looking at all the work that is shown on this site and being very new. I find myself wanting to know the answer to this question. If you see a pattern that some one has uploaded to this site, and would like to get a copy, is there way to get or request a copy? are all of these works for looking at only or is it normal to expect that the author might provide a copy to someone that would request it. any guidance on this would be appreciated. Thank you Unkbeel |

I start this answer and I'm sure others will answer in also. Your question is kinda a two part answer. First, if you are talking about the finished work on here, then you'll have to ask the person who made the piece and depending on where they got the pattern for the piece will decide on whether they can provide you a copy. A lot of times, if they got the pattern from somewhere, they will direct you on how to get the pattern. Second, if it is a pattern that you are talking about, then if it is posted here, then that means it is available for you to get a copy. The way you get a copy is this way: 1. click on the picture of the pattern which will open it up full size. 2. Once you've done #1, right click on the pattern which will open up a instruction window. In this window you'll have options. I use the option, "Save Picture As" click that and then save it to your computer where you can find it, usually in your pictures folder unless you choose to put it into another folder. Once you have it saved you can go to that folder where you saved it and then print it out from there. Now you have a pattern to attach to your material and it's ready to cut. Hope this helps, if you have any more questions jump in and ask, there is a lot of people here that will be more than happy to help you out.
