Red face Tree frog intarsia

Hi everyone,

Just read in the latest Scroll Saw magazine that this forum was available, so I decided to give it a try. I'm very new at this sort of thing. I have been scrolling for the last 4 years. Last year I tried my hand at intarsia and just fell in love with the look. In the latest magazine, I noticed that in the past there was a contest for those interested in intarsia to make the tree frog intarsia. Well, I have searched, but could not locate the pattern. I would love to try this out for my granddaughter, who just loves frogs. If anyone can point me in the right direction to what looks fairly easy pattern, I would really appreciate it. So far, I have completed a pelican and dragonfly, and am really pleased the way they came out. I have introduced intarsia to our woodworkers club, can't wait to see what others can do. Thanks, Caty53

Caty, we have an intarisa section here. We have had several challenges the last several months. If you go to the intarsia section you can hunt through the posts and read about. Janette had a time limit to get the pattern which has already past, but you may work something out with her. We had the Nuthatch challenge, Lighthouse challenge and now the toucan challenge. I know you can still get the toucan pattern.

Welcome to the group! The tree frog challenge is over but you're welcome to join in Jim's toucan mini challenge! Just check in the intarsia section and you'll find lots of info on intarsia and lots of people willing to help you.
