Thanks Pam.

At this moment I'm just scrolling by hand and in the near future I will buy a scroll saw machine.

Somebody can help me and advice me which machine to buy? Brand and specifications, etc...

Thanks,

welcome, you say you are only scrolling by hand....... I think thats great, doing it by hand with a fretsaw takes much more patience than I have!!! As for brands, etc, the first thing is... how much are you willing to spend? That alone will narrow down the selection a lot.you want variable speed, easy to get at controls,is capable of using pinless blades, and tool free blade changing, and low vibration.

Hi Richard, Take a look at the Hitachi CW40 , it seems to get pretty good reviews, and if Im not mistaken, its around that price range.

Hi there,
I would just say welcome and I would suggest you buy a machine thats easy to change blades. Also I learned real quick pinless blades give you much more flexibility and options.
Bernie

PS. I would also reccomend you look at maybe getting a rebuilt Dewalt 788. New one cost more but I love mine.

Hello,

I really appreciate all your comments, and I will try to find a good machine.

I'm sorry for my English, I'm Mexican and I'm trying to write the best I can, I live in Ciudad Juarez Mexico which is a border with El Paso TX, USA. Here there is no many people dedicated to this hobby.

Best Regards,

Richard, I would just suggest one thing, that's be patient when you choose a saw. You will learn a lot about saws here. If you are in a hurry to get a saw, I would suggest that you spend as much on a saw as you possibly can. Make sure it is easy to change blades & little vibration. One thing about trying a saw out, is, it is not usually available to run it & cut with it in the store. If you can do this, by all means do it. Hope you find a good one. Perk
