Default thanks for allowing me to join

I am pretty much an intarsia woodworker. I have been doing this for several years and most of my work is for family and friends. I introduced my brother tommy to intarsia and he has surpassed my work and has really done well selling pieces.
again thank you for allowing me to join the group. HSmith

Let me add my WELCOME, too, Hal.

Lots of folks here do intarsia, so you'll fit right in or group. Do post some pictures, if you can. Consider particiapting in the challenges - see applicable forum topic.

Look forward to seeing your work and that of your brother's, if he'll join in, too.

WOO PIG SOOIE!!!! Another Arkie!!! (LOL) Welcome to the boards Hal! I'm in hot Springs.I joined in January and just love it here.Check out the intarsia challenge that Janette is hosting (I think that she is like the "Queen of Intarsia" around here)((Hope you're taking notes John B)).

We have one more of us here on the boards (that I know of) - "Okie-Arkie", he lives in DeQueen.

Please post some pics for us if ya can (works in progress, Bragg,or intarsia sections). Sorry, I think I just pretty much copied Lee's post .

Hi, Hal ! Welcome to the Group & hope you can get whatever from the Intarsia people here. I don't do Intarsia, but, did one of a Goose(didn't finish it). I just can't handle all the sanding. Too much dust for my shop. I really like doing the Scrolling though. Good sailing in the Group. Take Care Perk

LOL, I was going to tell him to send his annual dues to me, but you beat me to the punch

Welcome aboad, Hal! Can't wait to see your intarsia.

Here's some off-topic trivia. Did you know that the HAL 9000 computer from Arthur C. Clarke's 2001: Space Odyssey was voted #13 on the list of Top 100 Heroes and Villains of All Time by the American Film Institute?

"Hello, Dave. Just what do you think you are doing, Dave?"

....Okay, so I'm a movie nut.
