Default New To Scrollsawer

I just joined today and took a look around the threads and saw that this is going to be a fun place to be when not "making sawdust" looking forward to learning from everyone here.
I had a dremel that I got at a swap meet and used it a couple of times until the blade broke, then I lost the blade holder and couldn't find another. I replaced it with a Craftsman saw and so far am happy with it.

Welcome! This is a good place to hang out while the sawdust settles. What type of scrolling do you like to do? We have folks here involved with a lot of different aspects of scroll art, so there's a empty chair just waiting for you.

BTW, if you still have the Dremel, you may be able to order the parts needed to get that one operational again, too. Home You can't have too many saws in the shop! (I've ordered from them with good results.)

Share pix of your work, if you can. We enjoy seeing shops, works in progress, finished projects or anything else you'd like to share.

One more "Welcome" Jet! I am starting to spend too much time on here- it takes away from the scrolling time! But this is a great site to learn from and enjoy the great people.I really like 95% of them and adore the other 5% (LOL)!

This place is just like a huge virtual worldwide family. Everyone does their own thing, their own way, but we all enjoy the successes and feel the pain of the "less than successful".

As Lee said, pull up a chair and join in. But, like Jerry pointed out, this place can get a little addictive. I have to go into online withdrawl this afternoon to get some cutting done.

Everybody here is on a first name basis and while we stand in awe of some of the works posted, we all know we are just one cutting away from posting that awesome piece. Everyone here was once new to sawing and we love to see the growth of our friends. Please don't become one of those people who sign up and only make 1 or two posts and then go away. Make sure that chair is comfortable and sit a spell.

First off Thanks all for the warm welcome and I am lucky that I have a job that I can sneak away on the computer and check out this site. I have a desk job and often have some free time to wonder around, lol.
As far as pictures go I need to get some and then try to post. I found some patterns here and going to try those and see how it goes.
