Hello. I've been using a scrollsaw for the last 6 years; A heart attack and my wife said it was time to slow down a bit. I enjoy Intarsia, Segmentation, fretwork and puzzles. I have entered some of my work at the State Fair the last couple years; the judges were kind. I started making cremation urns this last year after my dear wife of 35 years passed away. I made hers of oak with mahogany ends and inlaid with intarsia. Since then, I've had 6 requests for urns. I'm presently making a cradle for my first grandchild (I've still got 5 months to finish it) I like deer hunting, just came back from 2 3-day weekends in Wisconsin. I'll be fishing next weekend on the ice on Sunday, In the Florida surf on Monday. I try to get in an hour a day on the scrollsaw, but late fall and early winter seems to be a hard time to get cutting.

Welcome buzzmaster im also a AFSP import the folks here are great and many of our old friends are here so have fun and if you have any difficulty navagateing the site just give a holler and someone will help you

Welcome buzz. I would LOVE to see some of the urns you make. It was touching to read how you made one for your dear wife.

Hi Buzzmaster, glad to meet you! I would love to see some of your work if you have pictures. What a special thing to do.........urns. I'm very sorry to hear about your wife. But congrats on your grandchild!
