Default Great forum

I am very new to scrolling, and I wanted to pass on kudos for the great site. I have wanted to get into this for a long time, and finally broke down and bought a scroll saw, and I am hooked. I should have done this years ago. My saw is nothing fancy, but I like it (B&D 16"). Right now I am just at the practicing various types of cuts stage, but it is a blast.

I'm sure that I will have lots of dumb questions for you guys, and I appreciate your help and patience.

I am in central Nebraska.

Have a great day, everyone!

Welcome to the crew, and there is no such thing as a dumb question! You might get dumb answers from warped guys like me but ask all you want. That is the great thing about this forum, some very talanted people are willing to help others.

We're a pretty lively bunch around here and sometimes the mischief comes to the front, but when you have a question, there is someone here who has seen the same thing and has a solution or a work around.

You'l get hints, tips and if you ask, we'll even criticize your work--in a constructive way. As you hang around here, you will find that the variety of non-scrolling activities done professionally or as other hobbies will translate into quite an education. (But, you get what you pay for--so don't expect a masters in particle physics, but you'll learn something)

Welcome to the group and when you get something you're ready to show, post a picture and get ready to have everyone tell you to keep posting more and more. It's addicting to post to the bragging section, but we're addicted to seeing the work of others.
