Default Wet behind the ears and know it

Hi folks,

Recently went through some life altering medical issues and have been looking for something to do. It had to be low impact. It had to be small & manageable in my new condition, it had to be creative and it had to be cheap.
Scroll Sawing !!!
So I went out and bought some books then went out and bought my self a scrollsaw and now I need a kick in the butt to get me started.
You are the kick in the butt. I mean that in the most respectful way.
It is kinda like giving up smoking (which I recently did lol) the more people you tell you are quitting the more support you get.
I guess that is what this post is about. Support.
Just by composing this post I feel a part of something bigger. A pool of knowlege and talent. A pool I look forward to taping into now and then.
As a matter of a fact after I post this I will go out the the garage and cut out a few lizards.
See it's working already.
Thanks,
Buray98

Welcome to the group Buray98. I'm glad you found us. This place will keep you busy and you may even get time to scroll as well.

You'll find the hobby allows you many accomplishments and for some, it can be rather addicting.

Have fun and make sure to post some photos of your work.

Take care
Toni
