hi
made the mistake of looking at the Bragging Section found it a little depressing i now realize how little i know . in my country we dont have the range of products you have and local woods are few and expensive especially hard woods i end up thicknessing all my wood to about 15 to 20 mm before i can use them . any beginners projects you could recommend so far i have made a key holder out of kiaat and a few kiddies projects
(sorry newbee from south africa computer challenged)

Welcome to the crew, if you use the search button above you should find a bunch of things you are looking for. Kevin is also starting a Pattern Vault so try there as well.
Glad you are here, there are others from South Africa I think.

Hi Andy,
Welcome to the group. I would love to see pics of what you have done.
You are at the right place. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable about different aspects of scrolling.
Good luck!

Welcome andysouthafrica.......you made no mistake looking at the Bragging Section. Pictures here gives us food for thought I always say. Everyone started from square one, some have been scrolling longer than others, some are naturals no matter how long they've been scrolling. The only thing to remember is have fun. Would love to see some of your projects. Come by often.

Thumbs up South Africa { pull your shoes off and relax } !!

Andy : welcome to the family here , just remember that the bragging page people was just like you when they started out also . you'll learn as you go , so just keep making sawdust and you'll reach new heights in scrolling . You'll see !!! Marshall

Hi Andy and welcome!

Where are you from? Just don't say Cape Town as I will be very jealous
Do you get the Home Handyman magazine? I have regular projects in there. I see you have been directed to my site - thanks Roger
