Default just starting

I have never done much with wood my wife bought me a scroll saw for my birthday. I want to learn to make toys for kids at xmas. i am reading the insructions for the saw now. I just wanted to say hello and thanks ahead of time.

Aireclyde : All I can say is just Practice , Practice and even more Practice . This is and was the thing that helped me in getting to that point where I was comfortable in the skill . There are lots of good and fairly simple toys you can make pretty much as you're starting out, and a lot more once you get good (I'm still working on the first part)

Ask away as you have questions, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
