Default Howdy you'uns

Made it here and discovered that I last visited in 1970 which is surprising as I hadn't even thought of owning a computer back then.

On behalf of all the annually-challenged members......shuddup! (think Daffy Duck's voice for that one)

Did the Internet exist in 1970? I got out of the Air Force in 1970. And drove a 1962 Chevy Biscayne. MMMMMMM. With a transistor radio with D-Cell batteries in it, on the dash (not in the dash) . Must be a typo O.

But Hey welcome back......

"The seed of what would become the internet was created by ARPANET in 1969. It was basically a group of researchers working for the Department of Defense."

The start of the internet is very fascinating....if you want to do a little research on the internet.
