| The Gathering Place Somehow I end up listed as a "Junior" member and that is so far from reality... especially when my granddaughter is carrying twin boys!!!! This project took all of 6 months.. mainly because i travel a lot for work. The one thing that is unique about this is that the birdseed is real instead of wood. I used 3 thicknesses of 1/8 inch plywood and glued them together. Then I used Elmers white glue to coat the surface and then press the whole thing into a layer of birdseed in a tin pie plate. When dry a coat of glue was applied and allowed to dry overnight. |

| John,
Great looking piece. I am an avid birdwatcher and have got to get into intarsia, I've seen some really nice patterns and that is one of them. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
