Default ScrollSawing State Trooper

Just wanted to say Hello to all on this board. When I'm not in the squad car...cruising the highways of Northern Minnesota...I can be found working with my Hitachi power tools in the shop. I am a new poster to this board...I enjoy plans from Gary MacKay, Paul Meisel, Diana Thompson and others. I would like to get started in Intarsia...but have many other projects that are in need of my time.

I look forward to reading posts from many of the other woodworkers that use saw dust for potpourri. Thanks for your time!

Welcome Chris, hope this is a relaxing place for you to visit. I have been a RCMP volunteer patrolman herefor 14 years and as time goes by real cops just get more respect from me. Feel free to ask questions and hope you like the answers.

Alan.

Welcome Chris! Working for the Courts (criminal records clerk) I can really understand how stressful your job is!! We tend to see people at their worst!! I love to "veg out" in front of my saw and not think about anything!! Like others have said, please post pictures!! Looking forward to seeing your work!

Hi Chris, I wont to welcome you to the forum as well. good luck on your new hobby. and stay safe. as you know speed kills. HEHE. and as far as sawdust making potpourri. mmm never heard of that. I make lots of dust. I use mine in many ways. putting it in my chicken pins, and laying beds. my flower beds. and even my dog houses. to keep them warm. on some of the hard woods, like oak, I use it on my oak trees. even the smaller chips. to feed the trees. welcome. Evie
