Default hi from Arkansas (Arkinsaw to y'all)

Beginner, so gimme a break guys. Looking to build a treadle machine. Any suggestions?

Greetings to the newbie from RKansas.

I guess if you're going to make a treadle saw, you probably already have enough tools to cut the wood--or are you going to go the Woodsmith method and split and hew everything from logs?
