| I don't know about the wonder paper. But i built a light box. Mine is a wood box (40 inches sq.) with a florescent light inside and the top of the box is tempered glass. I Tape down the corners of original pattern and then trace it onto blank printer paper. Use a mechanical pencil and you can get nice crisp thin lines. I can't afford a large copy machine. So this works for me.

| I do about the same as Pete, , I use thin tracing paper and a red pen, using the thin paper i am able to see, somewhat, the grain of the wood when i am glueing the pattern on. If I have to fit new pieces to a already cut one i mark the edge of it with a pencil insted of red ink, this reminds me that i must cut it as close to exact as possible. I have been using the two color method for years and now when i see the pencil mark I concentrate to the fullest. If i miss a red line I can make it up with the next piece!! |

| I also use the light box with 3 18" bulbs. I use a sheet of clear plexiglass, and use regular computer paper. For larger paper I use the pads that are used on flip charts. And the red ink, I just got some new pens that have a .2mm tip. That is very fine and sure makes cutting easier. the pen is made by Pilot G-TEC-C4. They sell them in packs of 2. These pens are far better for tracing than any I have had before. I just bought 10 of them. and hope I can get more when they run out.
Tony I am not sure what you have for a computer, but I scan all my patterns after I trace them with red ink. then just print out what I want and glue them to tape on the wood. If you are doing intarsia you might need 10 copies of a pattern so the sticky paper might get excpencive.
You could also trace out in red ink and take it to a copy center and get them to make your copies.

| You can also use your window as a light box, just tape the patern and paper to the glass.
Do not try this at night!

| I have some wonder paper somewhere I plan on trying out, the problem is I'm not sure where I put it. When I do locate it I intend to give it a good try, and will post my thoughts on it.Chances are you will have recieved and tried yours already by then Tony, so please post a followup on it with your thoughts on it.
