Hi all -

I joined up a couple of weeks ago and have been lurking around - quite impressed with the body of work on display by the members of this group.

I live in Baltimore MD, married , two boys (14,15) and have been scrolling for about 5 years. I have done a couple of local church craft fairs - not getting rich but able to support my habit.

Entered a couple of pieces in the MD State Fair this past August. The segmentation cross took 2nd place out of two. The music box had a bit more competition (7 entries) - but - I did get first. I think the judge was kind because (being my own worst critic) I thought a couple of the other pieces looked fantastic.

Pics attached of my two entries.

If anyone is interested I have also put some pics of my work on flickr - here is the link:

Thanks for letting me join.

Aloha George,
I'm a newbie, to the forum as well, Welcome! Congradulations on your recent acknowledgements! I received my first last February, was gratifying for sure! Just wanted to say, Nice Work, I'm impressed! In my work, the most important ingredient is "Passion", this is clearly evident in your work! :-) Very, very nice!

Aloha, Ray
