| Marshall, Thanks! We're both in the same hemisphere! I'm roughly 140 miles away from you as a crow flies (Russellville Arkansas). It's true - I drive a Chevy - don't know about wearing a Mustang shirt. I wonder how Johns buddies got the job of designing and building the prototype Camaro that is about to debut? I've seen the pictures of it and have to admit they did a fine job with it. I want one! I betcha Jimmy Lile made Paul Hogans knife. Small world afterall. John, I like my Stanley shirt it's fleece lined, tough, and warm - I just didn't have it tucked in. ![]() Talk to ya'll later, Steve |

And there I was trying to relate smelly skunks in shirts (i.e. musktang) to ageing pot bellied scrollers! Nice one John - that's now filed away in my RAM

Oh I get it! Mustang - must hang over you belt. Doesn't that make your belly cold in the winter if it's exposed like that? I like my shirts "Mustanging" Past my belt. |

Steve, Great site, thanks for sharing. I really like the shells, great work and selection on the woods. Welcome to the site, maybe you could do a work in progress on your next shell? I would love to see how you do that.

I took a stroll through your site as well. Beauty and intrigue ... what more can you ask for to amuse the brain and tease the eyes. Great stuff. As for the shirt issue, I prefer Dunlop shirts. Much like John B, they Dunlop (done lop) over my belt line. LOL Looking at this serious type of mechanical artwork and then heading off into the fat man jokes makes me wonder what this group is made up of ... sure is fun and good for a laugh though! ROTF LMAO I'm proud to be included in such a twisted mentality (helix reference intended) and welcome you here Steve. Andy

Thanks! I've been accused before of having a bit of a twisted mind to come up with the things I do. If that's what it takes for me to be creative then so be it - I like it. And it's fun to chat with people who have similar interests and pick on eachother from all over the world. How is your pattern business doing? I like the cars, you should make one for both the new Mustang and the new Camaro that is coming soon - it's going to be a real head turning car. Mike - I am going to start a new thread in the bragging section about the shells. |

Steve, Looking forward to that one, I always love to see the process. Even if I never attempt to make a shell, there may be something you do in your process that I may use in mine, that's the beauty of this site...limitless information...

| http://www.scrollsawer.com/forum/bra...tion/16632.htm I'm not sure a link will work like that. If not then look in the bragging section for the post titled, "About My Shells". There aren't any pictures, just a description of my original concept from years ago. At this point there has been over 50 views but no replies and I am not sure why? |

Hey Steve. Thanks for the quick idea spark on how you create the shells. I can see how it would work in my mind but I'm not sure I can get the hands and tools to do the creation part. LOL One o' these days though. Been terribly busy with the pattern making lately and have barely touched the saw. Sales are a bit low, not sure why, but we're going into that season that usually accelarated them quite a bit. I never have relied on sales of patterns for any income but it did manage to allow me to buy a new telescope. LOL Andy
