Default Greetings From Cold Minnesota!

I have joined the message board as I am on a quest for information. I am a model builder working with boats and airplanes. In my real job, I am the owner of Mrs B's Historic Inn & Restaurant in Lanesboro Minnesota. We operate seasonally and after returning from Florida this Spring, we decided to sell our freedom (the big diesel guzzling motor home) and stick around for awhile. I have some projects, as far as my hobby goes, that I plan to work on over the winter and I am in the process of setting up a small shop again.
The fun part is I am a true dyed in the wool tool junkie ( Oops! don't let my wife hear that!) and I think that a scroll saw is something I need. Look for my posts in hopefully the appropriate places.

Greetings back at ya!
Sounds like you need something to wind down after the B&B season. Saw your other post abofut what kind of saw to get, but don't seel yourself short thinking you will only use it to cut model parts--next thing you know, you will be cutting decor parts for the models and other things.

Welcome,

We are transplanted Minnesotans here in TN. Moved from the Mpls northwest suburbs a year ago March. We have good friends living in the Lanesboro area.

Skeeter,

We had a lake home in your area, so we know the area well. Actually on Rush Lake just north of Becker.
