| Intro... Hi all.
I bought a scrollsaw from the local Menards a few days ago and I am hooked. Way easier than sewing. I primarily want to make toys for my two sons and gifts for friends and family so hopefully I can get help with that here. I've been browsing already and I must say... you lot are frickin impressive!!! Lots of wonderful eye candy and inspirational pics on this forum... |

| Thank you all for the warm welcome!!! Here is what I've got so far. CallMeKelly
The tree was an attempt to make something similar to what woodmouse on etsy makes but I freehanded and it doesn't look much like. I like it though. |

| Hey, Kelly. I started sewing about, hm, let me see - 45 years ago, and I still do it, LOTS. It's just something I HAVE to do, it's part of me. But then again, scrolling is now, too. I tell people you get the same reciprocal action with the blade as with the needle. Not too much different, cloth to wood!
Keep ALL your crafts - they won't let you down over the years. You can make many lovely toys etc with your saw. I have! Martha |
