Hi Kenneth, I'm new too, and would like to also welcome you. Ahh Intarsia is something I'd like to learn myself.

G'day Kenneth...

Here's a warm welcome from 'still-wet' neophyte.... And I'm wrestling with usage of my machine, too..... We'll get there, though.--- This forum has _so much_ depth and breadth of experience to draw on... on seemingly anything!!.

I note in your intro that you're interested in 'segmentation'..... I don't know exactly what this is in relation to scrollsawing.... But I must ask you---- Does it involve 'Fractal' generation and the scrolling ??
'Fractals' I'm particularly interested in and intend pursuing such with my scrolling...... Down the track , of course !... I reckon computer generated fractals, applied to Scroll-sawing will be quite a buzz. ( I've applied such 'generations' to 'paper' graphics.... They'd great in scrolled wood !!)

...catchya around..

... Ray.

PS.... now you can see how 'new' I am !!! There's a whole sub-forum here devoted to segmentation... I just 'found' it... Duh. .... Some stunning work done ...... So I now now that 'fractals' have no application in 'segmentation'
