| G'day Scrollers and others "Intro" !!! What can I say ----
I'm down here in Australia and have just bought my first scrollsaw.
Looking over the 'net for some info, I came across this group.... Hey.. a lot of good stuff and good vibes................. So, here I am--- ready to scroll ! )
I've never even seen a scrollsaw used... but I've been intrigued by some 'wood puzzles' that I've seen recently ( concentric, inter-fitting and variously tapered rings sawn from a cross piece)..... and, on finding I need a 'scrollsaw' to make 'em.... I went out and bought one !!!! ...... Now I've got to learn some of the 'tricks' in getting it to do what I want...... should I live that long !! Hahhahhah.
So, I'll just lurk around and soak up some of the info hereabouts 'til I've got something to offer..... but I'll be reading _everything_ )
--- real pleased to find you...

| Welcome to the "family" breakie......If you are interested in scrolling now just wait till you get into it. A few great sites to learn stuff besides here, are Rick's Scrollsaw and Scrollsaw Workshop. Have fun learning and get on that saw.

| Welcome to the forum,
There are quite a few members here that do scroll saw Puzzles. I think I saw a link to U Tube where a live video shows how puzzle pieces are cut on a scroll saw. The main thing is to enjoy cutting ,even if you only make saw dust at first, like me.LOL

| Welcome to the group, you will have to look out though. We love to give John a hard time and because he lives down under there is not much he can do about it. But fellow scrollers on the same island might be in for it. lol.

| Welcome Breakie. JohnB is the most notorious Aussie here , and he does like doing puzzles. Carter Johnson is the puzzle master here, and if you start talking puzzles, he is sure to pop up. Any questions you have, be sure to ask, since none of us seem to be able to read the minds of silent members very reliably.
