Default Hello everyone

I am new to the site and new to scrolling, but not new to woodworking. In years past, my father owned a cabinet shop and I worked with him for many years. He passed away, and we moved to TN. I am looking to start up a woodworking hobby in scrolling.

Hi there Denny, first off, I wont to say, I am sorry to hear of your great loss. I am sure working with Dad, you leared alot about woodworking, I can't think of anything being a better teacher than cabnet making, or funiture making.
second, I wont to welcome you to the forum. I am glad you have chosen scrolling as a hobby. but I have to warn you. it is a adition as well. it is much easyer, but promises to get you into much more. I think of it as a art. and a hobby. for it leads you into you most inter thoughts, and inspires you to be creative. much more than making a living. your friend Evie

Thank you Evie for the warm welcome. Not sure about the addiction part. I need to balance scrolling with part time work and gardening. Thanks again.

Evie, gardening is not only my longtime hobby, it was my business as a landscape designer for 17 years.
