Smile Greetings everyone!

Hi,

I am a VERY new scroller. I saw a Dremel model 1371 at a rumage sale for $35. I figured I couldn't afford not to buy it! I have been making birdhouses for a while (nothing fancy) and thought the scroll saw would be a great way to add some detail to them.

I have all kinds of questions, but I will move to the beginers thread and start flooding you with them there!

Before I joined I looked around the forum, and there are definitely a lot of very friendly, helpful people on here. I hope I don't try your patience!

Looking forward to learning and having a little fun, too.

Schmidty

P.S. I hope everyone is enjoying the Labor Day weekend!

Welcome Schmidty. As Alan said, ask away, and you are sure to receive answers, and perhaps even answers you like. Even if they aren't, they probably will be helpful answers

Welcome, you will enjoy this place now as a starter and years from now as an expert. Ask as many questions as you can come up with. If there is an answer, you will find it here. There are many smart people here and experts who will be tons of help.

The one thing you do need to know, we need to see pictures of what you are making. You'll get lots of encouragement and pointers.
