| Welcome to the best scrolling forum. There are different blades around and many are very good. Once you find one you like then you buy in bulk. You don't want to run out of blades. Check with Mike for Flying Dutchman blades. His service is great. Mike's Workshop selling Flying Dutchman brand fret and scrollsaw blades
you can also get Pegas from ben Bens Scroll Saw.com

| G'day Dnm,
As Evie and Diane have said those are good blades.
In my ever so humble opinion there are three brands of blade that are as much a muchness. Flying Dutchman, Pegas, and Olson PG and Mach blades.
I have found that different brands are good for different applications but that will only come with experience.
Have fun |

| dnm, all silly and stupid questions have been asked before you joined. A lot by me, so just ask away. No one has ever given me a hard time on this site, but they have sure given me a lot of knowledge on how to do things.
So feel free to ask anything(about wood and scrollsawing).
