| New member from Germany Hello everybody, after a little help from the webmaster I´d like to introduce myself to the community:
I´m Angelika, nearly 50 years old and I started scrollsawing last christmas when my husband gave me a scroll saw. I´ve always wanted one and started with some funny and colourful pieces like a birds home. After a while I started searching for other patterns but was not successful in german bookshelves. By fortune I saw the books of Judy and Dave Peterson and I am amazed - the dragons are my favourites and when I will have found out how to post pictures I will do exactly that. I like very much to alter the patterns: So I sawed (is that correct?) a winged unicorn out of the combined patterns of a unicorn and a pegasus.
I am glad that I am a member of this community because as far as I know there is nothing similar in Germany |

| Glad to have you here! Join right in and ask questions, post pictures and have fun. No question is a stupid question. Combining patterns can give you very unique ideas. I look forward to seeing them. |

| Thanx Thank U Charlie and Pajaro for that friendly welcome - and in German language. That is so nice. Now I checked how to add a little picture - here you can see my winged unicorn. It is made from pear-wood.

| Hi Tom, I was so glad to discover this community. In Germany there is nothing similar and the patterns you can get here are miles away from the wonderful ones I saw in the american bookshelves. Here people like to make scroll-saw-projekts for their gardens, doors or children - very colourful and often very simple to saw. No challenge, you know? So I´m curious to learn and read and see the magnificent projects of the members that do scroll sawing for several years now.
Good night, Angelika |
