Default New here...

but not a new scroller. DH and I have been scrolling for a long time.

When he married me he married a business and a scroll saw. I forgot to warn him though. lol We used to have a ShopSmith scroll saw that served us very well. After I lost the Shop Smith when my mom died we sold the saw (which was mine) and have been out of business. sigh.....

We are going to be buying another saw soon and chanced upon a 10 year old Hegner with about 3 hours on it. We are considering getting it but will see.

I am glad to have found this forum and look to gain alot of wisdom.

Missy

HI Missy, and I wont to welcome you to the forume, first off, I would like to say, I am so sorry to hear of your losses. both your mom. and your shop smith. gosh to lose a mom is tearabull, I know. I lost mine a couple years ago. and I miss her so much. but dang to lose your saw as well. how and what did you do to dill with the greaf? I just got my Hegner a couple years before her going. and don't know what I would have done if I didn't have it to help me with the stress. If it was me, I would buy that puppy in a hart beat. 3 hours on it. dang it is not even brock in. I hope you stick around, these folks hear are like a new family to me. and when my pc breaks down, I soooo get it fixed, for they help me keep going. I am so glad you found us, and so glad you are hear to give us some of your exsperiance, and friendship. thanks for posting, and come back a bunch. your new friend Evie
